Tagged Fish Bounty

Although there were plenty of anglers out on Lake Macquarie, our tagged fish proved to be elusive and they all got away.

But thanks to Lake Macquarie City Council and BCF, we’re offering a $500 tackle bounty for whoever catches a tagged fish.

If you are the first person to catch one of the tagged Bream, Flathead, Tailor or Whiting before 5pm December 23, you’ll win $500 worth of tackle from BCF.

How it Works

  1. Catch one of the tagged fish before 5pm 23 December 2024
  2. Call us on 0457 481 644 to confirm you are the first person to catch that individual tagged fish
  3. Take a photo of the tag number – the tag must remain in the fish, and the tag number must be visible in the photo.
  4. Video the fish swimming away – the fish must be alive and swim away.
  5. Email your name and LFLM2024 Angler Number, along with the photo and video to info@letsfishlakemac.com.au
