  • Photograph the fish so the entire length can be seen in the photograph along with your angler number and the codeword.
  • Check out the Photographing Your Fish page for information on how to correctly photograph your catch.
  • Remember to write your angler number and the codeword CLEARLY in the white box provided on the brag mat.
  • Check your photograph to ensure the whole fish is in the photograph and the nose end of the fish is in line with the “0” (zero) measurement and the overall length along with the angler number and codeword clearly visible.
  • If you do not receive your brag mat before the competition, you may measure and photograph your fish using:
    • Another competitors 2024 mat that shows your Angler Number and the codeword. Please use a piece of white cardboard with black marker to clearly write your angler number and codeword.
    • Last years Let’s Fish Lake Mac mat, or a Pirtek Fishing Challenge mat, that shows your 2024 Angler Number and the 2024 codeword
    • A generic brag mat, like the ones BCF, Anaconda and tackle shops sell.

Make sure to include a piece of white cardboard with your 2024 angler number and 2024 codeword clearly visible.

  • If you are not happy with the photograph, simply take another one.
  • Quickly release the fish and try to catch a bigger one.
